This policy covers Majosphere (“we”, “us”), operating https://majosphere.com.

The contact form on this site collects your name, your email address, your business name if you give one, the services you select (and the estimate worked out from them), and the message you write. Submitting it sends those fields to hello@majosphere.com as an email, through our email provider Resend. There is no database behind the form and nothing is stored anywhere else: the enquiry exists as an email in our inbox and nowhere but there. Your email address is set as the reply-to on that email so we can answer you. We also record the IP address a submission arrives from, briefly and in memory only, to rate-limit automated submissions; it is never written to disk and is gone when the server instance recycles. An enquiry is kept for as long as it is relevant to the conversation it started, and deleted on request, as set out under Data retention below.

The only other personal data we receive is what you choose to put in an email sent to hello@majosphere.com directly. If you accept analytics in the banner, Google Analytics records how the site is used, as described under Analytics below; if you decline or do not answer, no browsing data is collected on our side. Our hosting provider may retain standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, for security and reliability, as any hosted website does.

We use the contents of an enquiry email to respond to it and to scope the work you asked about. We do not use it for anything else.

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), we process an enquiry either with your consent, given by sending it to us, or under our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to us. We do not rely on any other basis today.

We do not share the contents of an enquiry with any third party for their own purposes. The one processor involved is Resend, which delivers the form’s email to our inbox and handles it only to do that. Google Analytics is the one other processor, and only for visitors who accept it. There is no CRM or ad platform connected to this site.

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, and it runs only after you accept it in the banner. It records the pages you view, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link), your approximate location at city level, your device and browser type, and whether you sent an enquiry. It does not record your name, email or the contents of the form. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. Event data is kept for two months, the Google Analytics default, and reports are aggregated. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which brings the banner back.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) to tell one visit from another. If you decline or do not answer, this site sets no cookies. Your answer itself is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie.

An enquiry email is kept in our inbox for as long as it is relevant to the conversation it started, and deleted on request. Contact hello@majosphere.com to ask for an enquiry to be deleted.

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you can ask us to:

• Give you access to the data we hold about you
• Correct data that is inaccurate
• Delete data we hold about you
• Restrict or object to how we process it

Send a request to hello@majosphere.com. We respond from that same address.

This site is hosted on Vercel, form submissions are delivered by Resend, and email you send us is received through the mailbox behind hello@majosphere.com. Each of those providers may process data on infrastructure outside the UAE as part of delivering that hosting and email service.

This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from a minor.

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page changes with it.
